Laura graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy program in April 2018. She will be writing her registration exams to become a Registered Massage Therapist in September 2018. Throughout her schooling she has gained an extensive knowledge on injuries/conditions and rehabilitation. Her intent is to treat all patients as individuals, as no two injuries are exactly alike. She aims to find the root of the problem in order to help patients heal, as opposed to chasing the pain and symptoms. Laura enjoys using a variety of techniques such as myofascial release, therapist assisted stretching, trigger point release, neuromuscular therapy, and other various Swedish and deep tissue techniques. She has a background in athletic therapy, and enjoys working with athletes and weekend warriorsof all ages and capabilities. She has also worked with patients with central and peripheral neurological conditions, acute and chronic injuries and pain, and patients who are in need of stress management.
